Search Engines-this is always a great way to find almost anything

called "the Internet's original search engine".
Popular, reaching one out of every two web users.
It's still my personal favorite.
GO Network is one of the newest and best.

Running Publications and Special Women's Running Web Sites:

Click on the logo to get to the Running Network then in the top selection box scroll down to Running Journal and click on it.

Runners World may be the biggest....try the daily news.
They do a great job an especially good source of race results.
Runners World has also put up a special site focusing on Women that you may find interesting.
and the New York Road Runners also have a site that focuses on Women runners.
Atlanta Sport and Fitness includes an on line registration feature which is nice...but there is a fee!

The Running Journal Grand Prix XXIV Started in August 2001:

...Parkersburg, WV --- August 18,2001 --- It was a great event....a half marathon (on a tough course) a great pasta dinner the night before (with beer) a great pizza party right after the race (with beer) more water stations than I have ever seen in ANY other half marathon......all for 18 dollars...what a deal....ok so it's a LONG drive, so what.....in addition to everything else it's the national championship so we got to see most of the best American Runners compete for a spot on the USA Half Marathon Team....great fun.

Anderson Road Runners
Michelin Midnight Flight...Anderson, SC --- August 31, 2001........it was a nice night and of course it's a very nice course....but once again they had some trouble getting the results done so it was pretty late night.

Virginia 10 Miler...Lynchburg, VA ---September 29, 2001...........A very nice event but a hilly course...see the photo page for some team pictures.
